Halloween is a holiday honoring the dead that is observed by dressing up in scary costumes and throwing spooky parties. The origins of Halloween can be found in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain when it was thought that the day of Halloween marked the return of the dead to their places of residence. People wore frightening costumes and lighted bonfires at night to scare off the ghosts.

It is difficult to pick just one part of Halloween that you love—haunted houses, scary movies, costumes, candy. Halloween parties fill that need. They can create a spectacular night that combines everyone's favorite tricks and treats.
If you want to create some tasty recipes and start some fun and lasting traditions with your family and friends, we have compiled a list of the best Halloween classics.
